Hi all, I have a Kuhn fc283gII with bolt on knives, bought used with these knives that I'm not that impressed with. The book shows a left/right handed type with a twist. Which is best

Yes,and maybe just me,but they seem to round off quicker than the old Lely. I know people will say it's a bit tight but if the left/right type look a bit dull it's easy to whip across with a flap disc and you're good to go. Is there an advantage to the ones I haveWe have always used the left/right handed type as shown in the book on our fc283. Never had reason to complain.
With the ones in your picture, I assume you have to swap them to a disc turning the opposite way to use the fresh side? You can't just flip them over as you would with normal blades?
That's the plan, but which type?Go on..... treat yourself to a nice new set.
plain normalThat's the plan, but which type?
Twisted lefts and rightsThat's the plan, but which type?
Arrow points which way.....And the silly question from me is how do you know which one goes on which disc if they are left and right
They seem tough but don't cut as clean as I would likeWe those ones, supposed more stone proof!
Some people fit them one way & some fit them the other way, I always fit them with the wide part of the blade to the bottom, new JD mower came with them the other way but I turned them.Sorry if I'm being thick, but googling genuine Kuhn blades, they have both bevels on the same face of the blade. Does that mean they're not reversible? The bevel would be on top one way and underneath if reversed ?
