KV Geospread issues

I'm having issues with my new this year geospread. sometimes, almost all the time it's slow to react, the speed reading can be a good 20 seconds behind what the tractor reads, and therefore so is the spreaders operation.
been through all plugs and cables and everything looks good.

if I switch it to a different frequency, and then switch back it usually cures it but then slowly drifts back to a long delay after 10minutes or so.

What receiver is it on the roof?? When you look at the Geospread page, what is the signal strength and how many satellites??
Has your dealer been to look??

it's the case 372? I think, runs afs in the tractor.
dealer has had a look, been through all plugs and cables so far. ours is the only one they look after being where we are, so they don't have a lot of experience. KV guy that covers here seems to be on holiday this week.

it says it's getting 17 - 19 satellites.
the coverage map on the tractor screen moves perfectly all the time, which would lead me to believe the tractor receiver side of things is innocent.

Is the tractor fitted with ISOBUS?? Does the tractor have it's own screen??
I assume on acceleration you see the tractor speed increase via a tractor instrument but the speed on the spreader page takes a while to show the same??

yes, tractor has isobus, (case puma), but dealer wired in a 2nd socket, which as far as I can see keeps the spreader and it's control box separate from the tractor and the tractor just deals with the steering and provides a speed signal.

yes, tractor speed and the coverage mapping on the afs screen moves instantly.

Are you mapping with the tractor screen rather than the KV one??
A second ISOBUS socket on the back of the tractor?? Like you have 2 big sockets outside on the back??

yep, I'm told when they tried it direct into tractor there was conflict between the 2 screens and case and kv advice was to do it separately.
tractor does its own coverage mapping just as it would with any other implement, but the isomatch tellus go+ box does all the spreader mapping and section control.

Have u access to another isobus enabled tractor to see if it catches speed correctly? Then u know if it’s tractor or spreader? just a thought!

It’s not getting speed over iso by how he ha explained it’s wired. He said it’s got it’s own iso harness so isn’t connected into tractors own isobus. I’d say your GPS receiver is the cause.

issue resolved with the help of Les and Graeme from kv,
it was to do with the receiver feeding too much irrelevant info to the box and it just couldn't handle it. the screen on my 2nd pic had the letters and numbers racing up the screen and a jumble of nonsense. so they had to go into the tractor afs menus and switch off all the in necessary satellites and info that it didn't need.
I'm told this would be worse some days than others depending on which satellites were around.
