Kverneland Accord TS Tine drill

The weaving tine drill is conceptually quite similar, although I don't know anything about them, I was under the impression they are more oriented toward no-till which should get you on Clive's Christmas card list way more readily.

That’s a sabre tine. Slightly different to the standard weaving time drill. Although, yes they are more suited to some direct drilling.

As said above your picture shows a Sabre Tine drill and an older model at that. Quite a bit of difference, bulkier frame and completely different tines to allow direct drilling as well as into min-till or ploughed land. The standard Weaving Tine drill is for ploughed and worked land or untrashy min-till land (newer versions would be better at coping with trash), it won't direct drill, it has a less bulky frame and almost spring tine like tines. The Weaving Tine drill is very similar to the KV TS or Kuhn Megant.

Doesn't that make yours one of the evo(eco?) drills then, with the transverse hopper and 2 big/2 small wheels?
Entirely different to older TS if so.
Yes it has the 2 big/2 small wheels. Different yes, not sure entirely different is quite right. They are the same basic drill. Just saying that if you can stretch to one of those models then it maybe better than going for an older type one. If not do not worry about it. The drill will still do a good job and put the seed in the ground in pretty much most conditions.

@Zippy768 looks good, the fourth row was a genuine KV add on Kit (y)

I think the boots are the same as I have, it has the straight point.

@Zippy768 seeing the spanner on the headstock I now realise what that lug is for!
That's interesting that you say that. I dont think I was told the full story as the add on does look a very professional job and there is a proper CAD print out for new coulter spacings.
The hopper looks very tidy and hard to believe its 16 years old. It does have a sticker for "Lodgeway, Refurbished Machine".

What is the spanner for? 19mm one end, 27mm the other 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the manual @Andy26 .
I am still a confused over setting the hydraulic fan right.
Tractor has a flow valve above the spool and nothing else. Book says I open the valve on drill right up and adjust on tractor valve.

How steady should the fan speed sit. Roughly got it at 4000rpm but obviously when the drill gets lifted up and down it changes. Also sudden throttle movements flick it up, then it adjusts back down.
