I've been spreading at 24m since I got it what's involved with going to a wider spread for the section control side of it just a case of changing the width same as the spreader?

That's what I'm thinking will happen but not 100 percent sure. It's mor like I'd go to 36 for grass so it's not like I'm doubling the size of sections is why I'm wondering
 
What control screen are you using? The spreader will work in 1m increments but it depends what the controlling screen can do, if it’s a Tellus on old software it’s 24...but will always but bigger sections in the centre of the machine...newer software has 36 or 48 sections, or a JD will have well over your width requirement.... the spreader will need to be on software 1.19 or later and if it’s a JD screen make sure it’s not 1.21...it doesn’t connect to JD isobus reliably....
