Think I have got the name right but not entirely sure.
What’s the low down on these presses?
My LB85 plough has a 160 HP headstock, and pulls 5 furrows at 18”
I believe the press arm fits to the headstock and swings the press over with the plough. Looks a big ask to me. Anybody use this set up and how do you get on with it?

I've got one. It's hard on the headstock in my opinion. I don't use it all time. I've a 5f es100 with 200 headstock. Leaves a nice finish, but I'm on girls land.

Had one working on mine this year, looked a heavy lump and needed a big weight up front, did a nice job though and I would probably have one if I was into ploughing.

Wazzock , just buy a press arm and get a proper , press ,
They are a bit of a comprimize , ,good for knocking top off ploughing for winter , but not heavy enough ,to pack sand down , so you can drill straight into ,and just ride over heavy and put pretty lines on top of hoss heads ,
Sore on tractor ,as makes plough heavy ,hate ours , much prefer a proper drag press ,

I like the look of the franquet where you drop one side and other is up and you can close it up on pins to use as front press , will find pic of one
Or the youth with Fendt with a power Harrow on a swing over press like dowdeswell

I got one last autumn but never used it,it's saved me time this spring, good on the lighter soil but not heavy enough on some. Very easy to go round the telegraph poles.
