I have noticed that a few kverneland ploughs have two hydraulic cylinders for the first body and others only one
Does anyone know why is that??

Front furrow adjustment and break backs possibly??I have noticed that a few kverneland ploughs have two hydraulic cylinders for the first body and others only one

I am talking about the two rams for the hydraulic front furrow , all other ploush have only oneOne ram to turn it over the other to shut the plough up (make it narrower as the depth wheel sticks out) when it turns over.
Could be a third ram if you have hydraulic front furrow!
No they're right it's got double on the front furrow for some reasonNot the clearest picture on the phone but that looks like a hydraulic vari width. One ram for all the furrow widths linked together and one for front furrow width only.

None will they're meant to be moved while in work or on the groundI don’t know, all I will say is it does take a fare bit of power to push the plough across, my 5 furrow wont move across if I try to adjust whilst the plough is in the air.
Its not recommended by the kverneland's manual to adjust it liftedI don’t know, all I will say is it does take a fare bit of power to push the plough across, my 5 furrow wont move across if I try to adjust whilst the plough is in the air.
Thenewholland will, but then its done with a linkage design instead of a sliding designNone will they're meant to be moved while in work or on the ground
Exactly. As this is about a kv ES then that's what I was on about .Thenewholland will, but then its done with a linkage design instead of a sliding design
