There's a mchale remote control in agri trader at a dealer in devon, either at g.s. Brown or john lake tractors, its a 2012 machine and wrapped 100bales for 7250, so I'm not far out

A local dealer has new ones on his website for 6950 with 2 years warranty and 0% finance

I have an old kv one with remote. A fine wrapper, if bales are carted to me I can wrap & stack one every 1.5 mins no bother. Ratchet mechanism for catching the wrap needs to be set correctly to avoid frustration but a simple thing to operate & maintain.
Hi do u no how u set up ratchet mechanism ours some times works and some times doesn’t thank

Hi. Just wondering can anybody help. I have a kverneland 7558 which was 100% until this evening. I tried to wrap a badly shaped bale and it came over the side while wrapping and hit the cut and tie until. I don’t see any damage but the part that come out to catch the wrap isn’t moving.
ive took the cover off but I cant see in my head how it works. The bar with the teeth attached to the spring isn’t moving
any help appreciated

the bar that goes from the aplicutter to the crank under wrapper goes in and out as the table goes round and pushes the ratchet which pushes the bar out a bit and the pawl should drop down to catch the tooth then the ratchet goes back to catch the next tooth and pushes the bar out again and so on.
either the bar is not being pushed far enough for the pawl to catch the next tooth or the ratchet is not going back far enough to engage its next tooth, this is adjusted by lengthening or shortening the bolt on the end of the bar that comes from the crank, if you run the table without a bale on you should be able to see what is happening

Hi, Does anyone have a kverneland 7556 or 7558? I am thinking of purchasing a 7556, but if I did I'd like to automate it. My question is, do these machines have a hole through the centre of the table that i could get wires or a hose down?

Thanks

If it’s not got wrap cut on it already then don’t waste your energy trying to fit it.
Find some extra cash for a better machine

Its a winter project. I've already automated a McHale that didnt have cut and tie
Unless you’re paying scrap price I really don’t think it’s worth the effort. Plus it’ll probably be 500 wrap which will soon be obsolete.

You can pick up automatic remote control kv on 750 wrap for a few hundred quid

I'm in Northern Ireland, sadly prices here are a lot higher than you guys for some reason. A used kv over here is a minimum 4-5K
