Kvernland exacta cl fertiliser spreader

Think I've found the problem. Is this shaft meant to be lemon shaped? @Tractortech @sahara @Phil P View attachment 959096
If that’s on the center gear box hopefully there back in stock now, I had one go end of Feb and no gearbox was available, bearing gone on mine and cracked the caseing, after a month of being told next week knevernelamd kindly removed one from a new machine to get me going again, 👍if you can't get any parts I could look at one iv got here.

Lemon tube to the left, 🤞then damper the round solid axle.

It does spin freely. Looking at the male lemon on the nylon side, there seems to be a bit of wear on the shaft. Meaning it's apart I may as well put it right.

CL has much smaller m12 bolts and cells compared to the TL. They also sit in a recess which makes it difficult to clean the back side of them and the corrode inside where they run through the cell. Not a big job to swap and only a couple of £ but something to keep an eye on! The whole machine gets a good oil spray when it’s laid up 👍
I had a mooch at the rear ones on my TL & look pretty much ok but as you said there all stainless parts
gonna fully remove the covers & poss slacken them bolts & layer them with oil then re tighten just too be safe
Dunno but could me M14/M16 size not sure
looks like a 24mm Bolt Head underneath anyways

Make sure you get the right torque settings if you slacken them off as it can affect the calibration if they aren’t tightened correctly.

Aye cheers just gonna leave them they look fine, sprayed some WD40 in all over the top of the threads i spy but hey there hefty SS Bolts on this machine
maybes 27/28mm even. bigger than 24mm when i first glanced at them.
No wear on the lemon tubes on drives on mine, but i recon that safety type sprung clip could be a bit thicker... that wont help.

Yes much bigger and stainless on the TL, it’s the little bits like the bigger weigh cells and stainless bolts that make the price difference between the CL and TL.

Also worth renewing the sealing ring/washer on the spinner shaft in the hopper regularly, once that's worn the fert will work it's way into the bevel box. Apparently "most" people fit new each year, though it doesn't come new with a bag full of spares nor did we guess it was a good idea.
