This was only because of the unusually wet June here and the general uselessness of Extase against septoria n.

We're doubling our acreage for 2021.

It did well here. About 8.5t/ha direct drilled into slop at the beginning of November. We will grow on extase and carry on with Siskin and Costello. Bought some gleam for some 2nd 3rd wheat as heard it has been performing well.

Trying it this year to replace dunston. Will be with costello and skyscraper so fingers crossed. First year direct drilling too so toes all crossed too!

Exstase did reasonably well here 8t ha average including patchy headlands and on parr with the siskin in next door field.
I have more than enough home saved seed stored separately that I may sell as feed now.............

It’s a group 2 so it should do.

Yes it does have a milling market. I haven't enough for a lorry load after I save seed.

Farm to farm feed market's premiums are pretty good, allegedly, until rain stops play.

We drilled extase first week of feb last year and it done better than the extase drilled in December. But all depends on the season
