Still yield 3 -4 tons an acre Probably be more reliable than extase will be going forward

Diego was outclassed by Graham here two years ago. This was to have been my first season with some Extase in the ground. Sadly it is still sat in the bags in the store. ? it keeps its germination.

I must admit I've been keeping a close eye on some graham this year and it does look rather good and very clean. I might try a little next year just to see.

Looking at our Extase, tonight, for the prevalence of OBM I thought it looked quite clean.Brother showed me some examples of leaf three, from other parts of the field, and there is a fair splattering of Septoria even after a fairly robust spray regime.Probably worst than our other varieties Graham and Gleam.Interesting.

I'll join in only just seen this thread.. sowed 18ac of the bugger in ni on perfect conditions on 11of Oct & then rolled it 48hrs later.
The Next 72hrs it had about 70mm of Rain on... That did it no Fava's at all.

Anyhow we are now nearing the end of May & apart from thinner patches in the field & some iffy headlands, neither i have ever once seen in my life in
this same field the crop is doing rather well. & its really caugth my eye how its recovered so well

I'll try n get some pics & return to my post at some point later today

Extase and Exsept.

But which is which?

:playful: :playful:

edit:-

Clue #I - Exsept is the one with a large number of tall off-types.

Clue #2 -Exstase is the one now rapidly going off with septoria n.
