30k after tax? 15k worth of perks. Costing you north of 55k. Good gig unless your a pansy. 😂😂
Perks will be nearing 20k this year house 12k council tax electric burning oil free water it soon adds up then add that they would have to earn another 6 ish k to pay the tax on that.
They will be paying some tax but the one I pay the accountant for and is via lkl his tax bill wouldn't be very big.

It is a good gig but as long as they allow me to make a fair return and still earn more money than them it works for everyone.

What kind of hours do they do? They must be fairly skilled for that money and benefits!

But your bills paid would add up to a tidy sum aswell ? We are the same what you draw in money isn't usually all of your drawings.
Oh aye I cost of running dads and our house costs a fortune! Sold our biomass cos it was a piece of sh!t and put oil in, so convenient but a lot more expensive than the biomass I’d say!

Loosing either would probably cost the business 20-30k in the first year of lost output ,training hassle and increased workload on myself

I'd say your numbers are spot on. I remember reading some report whilst studying for my degree that said the money costed to a business from the moment Staff A hands in their notice to Staff B being fully trained and reliable in the job was 15k. And that was 6 years ago!
