What an unintelligent left wing ignorant cretin, some of them really are unbelievable, I hope they never ever get elected.

I couldn't read that link unfortunately but as I've said before this gives food for thought;

Just to emphasise, before the usual warriors start accusing, I am afraid this will happen but I hope it will not.

The anti livestock agenda Is being driven by big business who want to corner the plastic meat market

He must have a very low sperm count being such an out and out w****r!

And then I read the article and saw that the MP is Alan Whitehead, who used to be a big cheese in Southampton City Council before arriving in Westminster. And I can confirm that he was a complete & utter w****r in those days as well. Born in Isleworth so he really knows about farming and country living doesn't he?

While interesting in concept it fails to mention the base product that will provide the stock they will make all this food from, everything needs a base some form of food or organic matter that gets converted into fake meat etc.
You cannot just mix a few chemicals together and get millions of tonnes of food and all the nutrition it needs to contain.

While I can see grain fed meat taking some stick from some groups and it having a hard time being carbon neutral, not all animal meat is produced like that.
