Labour's Manifesto

What is your way of life that you see it being damaged more by labour than the tories ? If it’s just the farming I don’t see labour being any more of a threat than the tories.During the last ten years of a Tory government the NHS has been declared to be in crisis. The police service has had there numbers reduced. Schools are understaffed and underfunded. Public transport is a joke with overcrowded and overpriced trains etc. Etc.etc. But during this time the national debt has increased to over two trillion pounds.

Let me see ..

I'm white, male, middle aged, relatively poor, able bodied, hetrosexual, born-live-work in the countryside and have Christian Tendancies.

Labour doesn't and has never offered me anything EVER. On every count Labour has made my life and my families life worse.

The Police are useless thanks to Liberals, the NHS is full of self serving staff, Schools spread Left Wing propaganda (My sister is a teacher with a degree - she thought bees pollenated wheat, she also thinks wasps pollinate as well).

Public Transport is cr@p and will ALWAYS be cr@p. I've used public transport for 10 years whilst working in cities .. you face criminals, violence and drugs on a daily basis. Submitting to a time table not of your making .. I worked it out it was cheaper to rent a car, work 1/2 an hour extra every day and I'd save time AND be warm AND be safe AND be able to go whereever I wanted whenever I wanted. I could even go shopping and put food in my fridge (Whoopee)

The national debt .. most of that is spent on Welfare. All of which - other than the NHS - I have to pay for in taxes but get no benefit from and never will. Because I work and I'm self employeed - not on the take in the public sector.

Labour can go Fek themselves .. Labour is for people who don't live in the UK or don't work or don't want to work.

I was told by a hard labour supporter yesterday that 'if' Corbyn got elected there would be an immediate leadership challenge in the Labour Party to remove Corbyn and allow McDonald to take over .
Apparently quite a few of the 'Labour' canvassers are giving the story on the doorstep in Hfd .
If they really wanted to win the would have had a leadership challenge a long time ago allegedly?

Sounds like the tories haven’t done anything for you either. They’ve been in charge for ten years.

I'm not going to transcribe the whole speech, but highlights include:
"he has had his costs increased by Brussels beurocrats" "who have insisted that each kipper must be accompanied by this - a plastic ice pillow" - neither of those are true, and both of those are statements made by Boris. That was at probably the most important speech of his life to date, so he should have fact checked everything (and, personally, I have no doubt that he did, but then chose to present the lie as fact).

Now, as for DA - could you identify where she "lied through her teeth"? I presume that you are referring to the above referenced interview. I cannot see anywhere that she actually lied in that, so perhaps you could identify the specifics for me? She made a car crash of it, sure, but lied?
Yes, he lied there or was very misinformed, either way it was untrue. So, that's the kipper one, next?

In re DA, she said she had read the report, it is insulting to anyone's intelligence to pretend this is true. She could recall not a single part of it and just parroted the interviewer, no pre-emption, just following.

So, we've established that Boris is a liar, that's all for now. I don't have any need to prove he's a habitual liar, thankyou, although that is my belief - there will be no 'next' for now.

As for DA - you've not proven any such thing, I'm afraid. Quite frankly, you're not being fair to her when she's not got the details of something from over three years ago. The interviewer was asking very specific details and I wouldn't expect her to have them to hand. Let me be clear, I have no respect for her as a politician or as an intellectual, but I see no evidence in that interview that she is a liar.

But Dianne, or any politician for that matter, would gain more respect from me is she had simply said she did not know. She could then have caveated that by saying either she had never read the report, or she had read it but it was some time ago and could not remember the exact details. But would be pleased to come back another day after reading it. That adult approach would defuse the situation and be far more grown up.

Hey ho.

Will leave you and Danllan to continue jousting. Great fun to watch. Cheers.

Right.
That's Boris and Di done for now then.
Now it's your turn.
Grumpy wrote in many a post..... "Everybody is a stroker or a lier".
Which are you?

:chicken: That's a cop out. And you'll note I wrote that he lied, or was misinformed - an untruth that is not deliberate is not a lie. So you are, quite frankly, being unfair to Boris and just assuming the worst, while giving enormous favour to DA.

She wants to be Home Secretary... I can remember reports, laws, commentary etc. that are / were relevant to my briefs from over a decade a go, most in great detail, many verbatim. She was at one time 'destined' to be a high-flier in the Civil Service, despite a poor degree..., and aspires to government, yes, I do expect her to have read and be able to recall in detail a report fundamental to her role.

No evidence she is a liar? Common sense alone provides it on the basis of her performance in that interview. But... for years she was saying that she thought private schools were a bad thing. Then she sent her son to a private school, it is reasonable to assume that she did so because she thought that it would be a good thing... hypocrisy and dishonesty established. (y)

100% agree with you on that. Was exactly what Farage said in his AN interview tonight 'I'm not an encyclopaedia' in reference to a quote spoken by one of his islamaphobic BP candidates.

As usual, you make one or two good points then spoil it with a load of reactionary guff.

Some poor staff in the NHS, but full of self-serving staff. Really?? My wife is a hard-working district nurse, as are most of her colleagues.

You don't benefit from welfare. Don't plan on drawing the pension then?

Public sector staff 'on the take'? One or two no doubt but the ones I work with are barely adequately compensated for responsible work in a very tough environment.

Try and think before you rehash the last Daily Mail opinion piece.

Apparently it's the line they have been advised to give if ,when they knock the door ,the voter says " I would vote Labour but I can't vote for Corbyn" who knows if it actually true or not that there will be a contest. Personally I wouldn't run the risk !!
