The Independsnt says”Candidates for new national parks would include the Malvern Hills, Chiltern Hills, Lincolnshire Wolds, the North and South Pennines, coastal Suffolk and Dorset, the Cotswolds and Wessex. They would join the existing ten protected parks. “
And
““Labour created the first national parks, and we'll create ten more, giving people the access to the green spaces so vital for our collective wellbeing and mental health.””

so if you Farm in these areas prepare yourself for “giving people acces” !!!

i could cope with access if people where made to keep their dogs under control, not sue for animals harassing them!, Does not interfere with business related tasks and also open up every other industry that occupies more than 10 acres of land on the same principles.

In cotswolds we already have the planning restrictions, dog walkers and grockles everywhere, inflated prices as occasional London visitors buy up local properties wishing to own their own rarely used rural idyll. What changes would there be if a national park authority was added to the mix?

I wonder how long it will be before those who don't live in Cities decide it is in their interests to break off from the CIty Dwellers and form their own Country away from the meddling idiots in UK politics ?

Don’t know about the other areas but Cotswolds and Chilterns are classed as areas of outstanding natural beauty anyway so basically not much difference given planning rules etc so seems a bit of a Labour bul?sh!t spin once again.

Explain how? Boris refused to appear as had urgent need to attend unveiling of a statue! Sent Gove and television crew along, Gove who is not party leader turned up for party leader debate on climate change. Now comrades Gove et al threatening review of channel 4 licence.
They wouldn't let Gove in ; "leaders only", so Johnson and Farage replaced by ice sculptures (melting)

Will only be city-dwelling by the time all the new homes have been built.
No place left to grow food so either import it all or hunt in the new forests.
