Slightly off topic but on BBC breakfast Johnathan Bartley co leader of the Green Party was interviewed it was a nice cosy chat with little scrutiny of there political views etc . Few minutes later Grant Shapes from the Conservative party go ripped to bits wasn’t allowed to finish an answer challenged on each point. To me it’s overwhelming obvious that it’s anyone but the Conservatives from the BBC

They wouldn't let Gove in ; "leaders only", so Johnson and Farage replaced by ice sculptures (melting)
So what was wrong with that, two leaders chose not to turn up, Gove is not a party leader, so what's the issue. I see bojo also doesn't fancy facing Andrew Neil, not sure why as Neil is a good right winger so shouldn't be a problem unless of course he does the usual ask the question and talk over the reply!

I don't say there was anything wrong in refusing Gove - would probably do the same ....

Do labour and the others actually realise it's not their land to start with? They want to plant billions of trees and open up national parks. Perhaps they should start by buying land rather than enforcing policy on certain locations.

They won't buy the land they will seize it. The labour party, if they can still be called that belive in public ownership for everything. I don't think a lot of the general public have cottoned on to how extreme and dangerous these lot are.
Yes the Tories are useless but at least they aren't nutjobs.

Its not your land either.
You just occupy it under some sort of tenancy.
Just saying.
Could point to how you could be easily evicted with a little tweak of the law.

And I'm sure they were chuffed in the 60's when they were lumbered with all the regs and planning rules they've had to abide by as someone had a great idea for a national park.
It's fine for people sat in London to impose rules on other people when it doesn't affect them.

This is the problem- if you have land in a national park it might as well be nationalised since they won't let you doing anything on it anyway!
