Lack of insects

the whole post about ar aerodynamics was spot on. My previous cars have been low on insects on windscreen. I then got a Mitsi Shogun.... The windsreen was covered.... ask a biker about their helmet... Nowt has changed

Down in Victoria (OZ) at the moment we went for a drive heading for the 12 apostles area and we came across an area where all the trees look like they were dying no foliage .the area covered for quite few miles and no fire damage . I am always inquisitive find out why things are happening so we came across a sign.

It’s an unaerodynamic Defender, a quiet A road and there’s lots of flowering OSR and Beans alongside the road

There’s little insecticide use, plenty of CS and Game plots and downland perm grass in the area, I’m no expert but that looks pretty healthy to me !!

Been there several times, was quite startled to see the trees on our second visit as they were alright previously. You do get to see koalas there though, usually surrounded by 10 Chinese people. Maybe the Chinese aren't there now post covid.
