Ladbroke's on Brexit

If the GB goes for Brexit, IMO Cameron will be out within a few days to be replaced by Boris. Given a few months we would have a general election and there is just a possibility that comrade Corbyn could become PM which would return this country to the 1950's . Any ideas for the odds on this happening as I might just go and place a few quid at our local bookie as it might just be better money spent than on seeds, fertilisers and sprays.

If we brexit, the chances are Boris will become Prime Minister as a consequence. He will have some kind of mandate if a majority vote for Brexit and I would imagine he would replace David Cameron without a general election taking place.

Corbyn hasn't even stuck to his own beliefs and will be seen as an opportunist rather than an honest politician.

I can't imagjne DC continuing as leader if we Brexit. Just about impossible.

If there isn't a Brexit, there's a lot of senior Tories who will need to culled. BoJo top if the list.

There is fixed term ledistation in place now.
The torys will not be going for a GE.

The Tories probably wouldn't want a General Election but, nevertheless, there are a couple of ways in which there could be an early election:

1) If there is a simple majority vote in the commons stating 'no confidence' in the government.

2) Two thirds of the house vote for an early election.

If there is an 'OUT' vote and Cameron tries to stay on I think it likely that many Eurosceptic Tories would abstain in a Confidence motion, which would mean no more Cameron. I think there would then (within 14 days) be a confidence vote in the government, avoiding a General Election.

IMO in the event of a Brexit it depends on the date we actually put forward our intention to leave. This may not be done till say 2018 added to the 2 years of the official leaving process would take you to an election year anyway. However, I would guess DC would step down soon after the referendum.

Brexit is happening because so many people believe the EU is too interfering in the affairs of UK. Now it seems Brexit might fail because USA is interfering in its affairs. The irony of it.Odds move sharply towards Britain staying in EU after Obama warning

Obama is no friend of the Brits as he has proven this weekend. I can only hope now that The Donald is successful in November.

Is this a bad thing the 50s we were self Sufcent and small farms of 50 acres with 20 cows were profitable
