Thanks for the photos @Sheep92 some fair lambs in those pens. What weight would the better pens be, look 30kg or more those good pens
No problem, went to see if it was possible to bring ewe lambs to ireland, id say them lambs pictured were in the mid 30s kgs, the lambs in the ring were from badanloch.... brilliant stock

(August, 17th) sold 15,573 store lambs at their annual district sale to average £52.54 (-£1.52 on the year).
Cheviot wedder lambs (6,589) averaged £49.36 (-£1.71) and sold to £66.00 gross from Knockglass, Dornoch. Cheviot ewe lambs (2,645) averaged £52.15 (-£0.12) and sold to £100.00 gross from Heatherlea, Ardgay. Texel cross lambs (2,049) averaged £57.73 (-£1.94) and sold to £86.00 gross from 14 Airdens, Bonar Bridge, Knockglass & 189 Fleucharry, Dornoch. Being a simple fellow,it even gave me a small shiver up the back of my neck.Even the wagon driver does a skip when loading the sheep.Had not heard of Skippinish before,Robert Robertson has a fine voice,although i think hes left to form his own band "Tide Lines" or something.Beautiful lassie in their "official video",The Island!.

Seen skippinish 3 times now. Twice with Robert and once with Norrie. Seeing them again in the Barrowlands at the end of September.

Yeah that was the Dingwall report he has posted @Old Tip .

It's the Caithness sale today at Quoybrae , not sure on overall sale average but we were up a bit with our cheviot ewe lambs, sold in two lots £120 and £118. There used to be 50,000 lambs sold over a four day event of only cheviots and half-breds up here , huge sale but it is all in one day now and there would only be about 1k cheviot and half bred lambs there and then the cross-bred stores sold after them.
