Lamb Creep Feeder Trolley

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of a cradle/trolley for a Lamb Creep Feeder that can be towed behind a quad bike? Or where there's one available?

I've contacted IAE and Bateman but they don't make it or know of any company that does.

Thanks

most of ours we bolted a 2"x2" length of box underneath and on to handle , a 50mm ball trailer hitch will fit straight on , the 3 in1 is an old trailer tent chassis with winch and feeders fits straight on ,(we added wheels on one end ) have to agree with above though , most of us move them about with quads , surely wouldnt be much extra to have fittings for a removable tow bar on most feeders these days

We lift our 1 onto the back rack of the quad.

Do you mean you lift 1 end up, and drag it on its wheels?

I can do that, with the loop handle, on my bikes ball hitch (Arctic Cat ball sticks out behind rear wheels clear of the bike, unlike Honda where it's tucked up under the rear rack)... it's OK to shift it around the field but not too good for going much distance - very little ground clearance, and very noisy.

A simple trailer to shift 2 or 3 creep feeders at a time would sell well IMO

Yeah the 1 we’ve got only goes between 2 fields so 20 metres through the gateway isn’t bad, it’s a 6ft gate to. When I first moved it there I put it crossways across the rear rack and it sat there well and it was easy to get on there.

I no this probably isn’t the type of feeder you are talking about but I bought an 8ft batman feeder this year and I added inflatable wheels and a draw bar. So much easier to move now. I just need to put a jockey wheel on it now to leave it sitting level and for hooking up. The only thing I bought was the hitch at £15. The rest was stuff that was laying about.

Good mod (y)

Why the likes of IAE or Ritchie don't just make them like that is beyond me... i mean, it's pretty much given in this day and age every sheep farm has a ATV or UTV
