What’s a acceptable dlwg for singles and twins born from 8th March onwards? Lambs are all texels out of Suffolk or texel crosses and odd lleyn. No creep feed and lots of grass

Weighed my small flock yesterday to prove to people it wasn’t all in my head. Weighed biggest lambs 4 weeks ago when got wormed. At that time 1 single was 38kgs and yesterday he was barely 42kgs. Weighed some twins and they were 35kgs and yesterday was 38kgs. Been on lots of grass since lambing and ewes were fed nuts with good grass for 5 weeks after lambing to

After nearly 3 months since birth they'll be getting most of their nutrition from grass now and as they get bigger their feed conversion will naturally become less efficient. At those weights get them sold at weaning in a few weeks time!

The single and the twins I weighed were born on 8th March. Last one was born 4 weeks later. I Have 8 at 35kgs, 17 at 30kgsor below then 12 at 25 or below

They've slowed up and my approach would be to wean them soon and give them the best keep before they actually stop.

After 12 weeks there's not much advantage keeping lambs on ewes, the ewes is eating the good grass on the lambs at that stage
Our lambs doing about 330g a day but will start weaning in a week as getting tight on the green stuff

Youngest here is 10 weeks at min. I thought and was told few times with such little lambs on the ground this time they’d have thrived better

Did you ever look into your suspected TE deficiency? If there is an issue, it will still be an issue if you half a dozen lambs, particularly if you’re not covering it with (mineralised) lamb creep.
