You can’t negotiate with a passive-aggressive, you just end up wanting to punch them.

@Nithsdale Farmer
I don’t think Corbyn will be allowed to be PM as he refused to acknowledge the queen or sing the National anthem... even being a proud Welshman i’d sing God save the queen.. he’s an ex activist and has no respect for our armed forces etc?

Rubbish.

Democracy at work. If he wouldn't be 'allowed' to be PM, he shouldn't be able to lead the opposition and stand in a General Election. Because he is and will (and did!), if Labour win he would be PM.

I'm no Labour voter, and I'm not sure what to make of him... but the Tory's are f**king everything right up they are basically handing it to Labour

i can't see how labour can win an election outright because traditionally they've needed scottish seats.....now snp has most of those....so most likely a lab minority govt with a confidence/supply arrangement with snp

don't think there'll be an election personally....tories would get tanked + there isn't time for tories to oust may and get election in

do wonder if EU will play hardball with may's plan in which case she's in more trouble

Corbyn in power would see the current strength of sterling seem like it was sitting on the peak of Everest, so it has everything to do with lamb price.;)
Everything has to do with everything - no matter how we try to fragment everything into manageable pieces.
I know us down here tend to pee off some folk; but that is because you can't exactly take politics, supply, demand, rural payments, brexit, weather out of a "holistic" equation and still have the same answer.

Simples (y)

I guess saying something true makes me a left-wing anti-farmer with no f**king idea - sh!t happens though! ;)

Falling lamb prices aren’t confined to Britain. Our side of the water they’ve dropped up to 40 cent a kg in the last week. Reason is factories know farmers have run out of grass because of drought and forced to sell. Their simply taking advantage of our misfortune.
