No, about 50%. Probably wetter there as passageway get a bit of water seap in when it silly wet like last week, which is when the tempary calving pen was prepared.

No, he slipped straight out. He's got a weird shaped head though and he's a bit of a dope so not thinking he's long for the world. They're in now

I only have around 70 to lamb in total and had 6 ewes with 14 lambs from midnight to 11am this morning. Thankfully got the first 11 outfits turned out today and another 7 grouped up to go out tomorrow so that eased the pressure on the pens. That’s 7 days done now and I have 31 or 32 lambed so the teaser did the trick

I seem to have to lamb a lot more this year than last, and more coming backwards , anyone else having the same trouble? Its maybe just because the ewes are in good condition though

Had to give up on polly tunnel after the snow in December. Shunted cows around to make space

All seems quite, ill just pop home for a bite to eat and see the kids before bed. Putting kettle on, best just checks the camera. This lady had popped 4 out on the edge of the straw/scrape/feed area . Tea in a travel mug and away back again. All standing when I got here

It's always the way. I don't start until the 1st April, had my first dead ewe this morning. Guts out .

Doing better than last year mind, I'd lost 4 in the run up to lambing then. Law of averages

Ha, I'm doing similar this weekend. Will cook a roast on Sunday accompanied by plenty of beer and loud music courtesy of spotify. Then on the wagon for lambing.

Same hear, never had to lamb so many. I'll be glad to be finished this batch, then don't start again until the 9th just hope they start to lamb themselves.
Whats the condition of your ewes? I would say that mine are just right and I'm feeding about 1/2kg with good hay
