What are folks thoughts on timescale for lambs dying and decomposing?
I'd go with the one with the white tongue been dead about a day and the grey one 4 or 5 days. I reckon they've been dead 7-10 days when they're black and more than this when you pull 'em out in bits:wtf:

That's just my theory - no vet evidence to back it up:confused:

80% have lambed, and they're still within the first cycle. Said they've been competing to finish by today :dead:

22°C today in what little breeze there is. 26°C in suntraps!

Keeping eyes peeled for sightings of migratory camels.

Last cross ewe lambed at lunchtime. Cheviots are 14 days in. 21 days to go.

20 left. Still in the first cycle, but it's clear there is a handful that could stretch to the latest possible lambing date.

I'll leave my sleeping self here, and go to check them again ... :sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep:
