That will cost a bit,
Busy day today, 10% of flock lambed (including one in the batch outside waiting for space to come in )
Anyway, just had a set of triplets and two can’t stand. Back legs just push out behind them. Any ideas?

That will cost a bit,
They should strengthen up over a couple of days, just make sure they get plenty of milk
Had one like this, vet diagnosis tendons at the hock. Either put cast on for six weeks. Snall chance of coming right or just pts
good to see
Quietish day in the lambing shed today. Which is a shame as would be nice to hide in there all day as the weather this morning was pish. However, just on my own this weekend so 300ish cattle to tend to as well, so actually hoping it stays quiet. Also space at a premium, it’s one out one in on the individual pens with 4 taken up with longer term residents.

Did lamb a set of triplets first thing (pen to left of blue drum). Just a head presenting. Came out with one leg back, as did the second.
Looking like good day tomorrow, but want to scratch lambs for orf. But forgot to order vacine, so not in till Monday
Dedicated bottle warming bucket sprung a (worse) leak yesterday. Came up with this. Works a treat.

The plan was to have that bloody big sheep and his mates fat and away before lambing, but failed , and the price has fell through the floor. These lambs better be a good trade later onThat's a bloody big sheep in the first pic - bottom right
Yeah and it's got spots too - I hadn't realised that new Dutch Spotted breed were so bigThat's a bloody big sheep in the first pic - bottom right

Thats bad snow you can move and carry on water just does as it pleases. Sorry for them but makes you glad you live on a hill farm. We've plenty up here and it's all going down to same river Further down stream before the big town
Not sure if these guys have started lambing but certainly not a good situation to be in. Really feel for them.
Bloody hellish!
A ewe of mine which lambed on 2nd March gave birth again on 14th March to another healthy lamb! Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced something similar? Have kept sheep for over thirty years but this was new for me! She initially had some colostrum after the first lambing but after a couple of days it was apparent she didn't have sufficient milk so first lamb has been bottle fed. Now though second lamb is doing well on good milk supply!
