Lambing in Polytunnels

Currently lambing singles (having large lambs this year without any extra feed)and triplets in polytunnels all twins outdoors.
This week it's been 34deg in the Polytunnel lambs becoming dehydrated and now a ewe has dropped dead!
Hate the bloody thing.
Anyone else having issues and what have you done to try cool it down?

The bullocks are currently watching over new couples in individual pens made under the overhang of their shed. There are also pens in whatever shade is cast by the hedges.
In lambers have the choice to stay in. They've been coming in by night.

What's causing the biggest problem with the tunnel is that the trees and shrubs around aren't yet in full leaf, so their natural air conditioning effect just isn't there.

I let them out by day here in warm weather and give them a choice to walk in, only thing you can do. my tunnel is now half clear and half green/white, lot cooler

Hang up a fan at one end, it'll keep the air moving. We have one of these we hang up in the roof in our slatted shed, It clears a 100'x30' shed no problems.

We also take it down through the summer and have it in the other shed at shearing, to keep a breeze blowing (y)

All reassuringly back to normal. Brought in a hogg single couple for a dry off this morning just as the hails began.

It's still too early to cast a clout. There isn't a single May flower open here yet, although the buds are waiting.

Thinking hard about buying a fan to help the Shearer's welfare, and mine when sorting out various sheepy jobs. Wonder if one would help with pollinating tomatoes ...
