Lamborghini R3 Evo 100 clutch issue

Hi Folks, ive got a neighbour here with a Lamborghini r3 evo 100. It drives perfect in reverse but most of the time won’t drive in forward and when it does it’s very stuttery. He’s had 2 mechanics looking at it and they both say it’s the clutch packs that are gone and it’s going to cost a mint to buy and install. 1 mechanic switched around the wires from the forward and reverse solenoids and she’s still doing the same thing.Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue or if there’s anybody breaking an Evo 100 to get the pack out of. Thanks

If it is the clutch packs, it would be ludicrous if you did not fit new. The expensive bit of the job is time. Clutch pack price will be a fraction of the labour cost

Don't expect much change out of 4 grand for the job, drive in/drive out.

My local parts supplier has the clutch pack for the AgroFarm 100 & Explorer 100 (not sure if the Lambo is the same?) listed at $1564 NZD + GST. It's listed as a "Clutch Pack F/R", I'm guessing you need two if you're going to replace both the forward and reverse clutch packs, but I wouldn't really know.

Any fault codes? They normally flash up code 73 for quite a while before you can actually notice them slipping, would definitely not use second hand clutch packs.
