We went A14, came back Wisbech Stoke ferry etc and it took the same, a lot more scenic on the way home.
Don't know if the reps had a heavy night but some attitudes were appalling, vaderstad stood chatting together so gave up and left, as were amazone, some preferred to look at phone than promote their product, most welcoming stand was probably Ben Burgess and Mick George(y)

Surely you mean tff:)

Well done @Sleepy and the rest of the team, sadly I couldn't get.back to the stand today, but it was good to meet a few of the reprobates that I read so much about on here:cool:
Thanks for the tea:)

Popped in met clive had a chat. Well done to all the organisers. Would have liked to hang about and meet more but trying to beat traffic.
Another year at need a digital camera and then take a picture of all visitors and then we can have a rogues gallery on the stand.
Or CCTV on the stand with a feed here - wonder who could supply that:scratchhead:

I would just like to thank the organisers of the @LAMMA 15 show for putting on a muched improved show this year. The traffic was a lot easier except the A605 Thrapston to Peterborough road which is a bussy road on a normal day.

Things have improved. You are right about the 605, but it's normally busy anyway without Lamma! What do you all think about the size the show has become? I see it from an exhibitor perspective but I wonder how many of you got round the entire show in one day? Did you spend more time inside halls or on stands that had good weather protection v outdoor stands? Interesting to see how many exhibitors covered their outdoor stands with plastic/steel flooring. The car parks are still a weak area; had the weather been much wetter, they would have become a big problem. All in all a decent event, but more important than my view, what do you who visited think?

could have spent 2 days no problem, it was quite muddy on the first day, would be a heck of a mess in the rain, newark was better

Was good, size for one day is too much, but stay overnight local and it's fine. The best bit is you can see pretty much anything you can think of. If it was smaller the bigger exhibitors would no doubt get preference and it would lose much of it's appeal like smithfield and the others did.

What was "better" about Newark? Lamma ha changed not just the venue but the "feel" from those early days at Newark. The show has "exploded" in size which naturally means it is different today. I think if I were visiting I wouldn't be able to see it all properly in 1 long day. The majority of visitors only come for 1 day in my opinion.

Being selfish Peterborough is so much better as I only live 15 minutes away !! If you're only coming for one day you would need to plan your day with a bit more research to target the stands you need to see. A lot of the halls do tend to have themes like Grass dairey ,Reneables , Grain driers etc. Its a shame it couldn't be made that all Seed drills were all in one place ,Fert Spinners in another etc. But then a lot of manufacturers make the whole range would be all over the show !

What was better about Newark ?
Not as far to travel from the north ( could do whole show in a day)
Hard car parks, good mix of indoor and outside space, from what I've heard better lay out at Newark, as for it needing to expand (why) is there any need for for all the financial companies and land agents and do stands really need to have 24m sets of rollers on them and 25t trailers !!!!
