Lamma 2013, minus 4 all day, I still have a deep haunting chill in my bones at the thought of it. Now less than 2 hrs away, it's free, it's warm and it's dry. What's not to like........
Last outside Lamma i personally went too, never went after it moved to Peterborough
Its twice the show all undercover even tho the some of the Brand Fashions wont attend.
Ive never been to Germany to a certain huge show so this is our next best effort in the UK
Use it or loose it.

I understand it stood for Lincolnshire agricultural machinery manufacturers association and despite moving from a small show at Newark to Peterborough and now to nec the name has stuck

I'm going, Local dealer has arranged a coach. Will have a job to see everything in a day!! @nick... It started as an even smaller show on our showground in Lincolnshire in the cattle sheds! Many moons ago. The idea was seeded by some progressive dealers in the county.

We went up last year, roadworks slowed us up a bit but left about 5 and got there somewhere about 9ish after detour to pick up a friend in South Norfolk. Very good show and a well organised fit for purpose venue.
Still waiting for savings made by some manufacturers by not attending to filter through???.
What will Agrifac have to tempt us this year?, remember the furore last year????.

Nope, too far to drive there and back in the day and can't get there at sensible time on the train so it makes it a two day trip. I'll stick to YAMS.

Doesn’t take much to put some people off [emoji57] we’ll be there n back not quite in same day but won’t be stopping over, leaving at 4am probably won’t be home till after midnight so a 20+ hr day

If you’re leaving a 4 and won’t be back till after midnight what time will you get there or when are you leaving for home?
More to the point, where else are you off on a jolly?

It reminds me of a mate who’s Mrs hasn’t a clue on geography, she rang him up about 7pm when we’d been to Newark, we weren’t far from home having a meal just north of Shrewsbury, he told her we were on our way back just the other side of Taunton so would be at least another 3 hours, she’s happy so long as she knows where he is.???

York to NEC is only 129 miles or 2 hours 10 minutes. Mostly motorway.
Over the years I've done the NEC many many times in a day round trip and it is a 3 hour 20 minute journey, half motorway half Welsh hilly roads and about 155 miles. Start 5.30 to get there before 9am and leave at 4pm to arrive home at 8pm to 9pm, depending on how many stops we have.
