on the Wednesday when I attended I was sent to the north car park and there was a new blue Toyota hilux invincible parked beside the fencing pretty much adjacent to the grassmen stand.anyway it had a body/suspension lift on it,aswell as black winch bumpers front and rear and aftermarket 20inch wheels and all terrain tyres.it looked the rubbish and I wish I’d taken some pictures.this is a real stab in the dark but does anyone remember the vehicle or indeed own it or know the owner as I’d love to have a chat about the modifications .

Yes that’s the one before the suspension and body lift.looks far better in the flesh

Looked into to this and it can be done but have to send a vehicle abroad to the factory and it’s very very expensive

Would they not sell you a kit??
They get the 2.8l engine too which is a tad unfair:mad::(

4x4at.com do a lot for the Hilux.

Although I think they're kit may be a budget lift.. Spacers and longer shackles from memory.

Summitracing in the USA might be worth a look as well.

There's a German guy I know that sells a lot of Jeep lifts. I'll have a look later does he do Hilux gear.

Not sure that I'd like to look around the snorkel in a RHD model. Bad enough in a modern vehicle with a big thick window pillar. Not a fan of cart springs either but the white, red & silver models look fine.
I have driven a mk2 Toyota Hilux on forest tracks & was a little disconcerted to find the back end often wanted to get ahead of the front end! Perhaps it was not being used to driving it......I was going fairly slowly at the time...
They do last a long time though so can't fault the engineering.
