Very jolly day...bumped into RTK Farmer on the RTK stand (what are the chances, eh?) and various other friends. Tractor salesmen were a bit disconsulate about the fact so many direct drills are being sold, whilst, oddly, no-one wants to buy new horses.
Got some great ideas for Groundswell 17...

Good to catch up with team martian. Nice to meet and have discussion with @Simon C about none tramline tramlines. Interested to prospect of T22? double hopper seeder, two seeds, two rates, one controller from @Jim Bullock Tillage.
Anything more than 150hp or that moved soil in any form, i.e. over 3/4 of the show, was of no interest at all which gave a quite liberated feeling whilst walking around.

Decided to do some kerb on osr instead of Lamma this year as . Just could not get excited about the 3 hour traveling each way and to end up looking at mostly over priced kit in the cold that we might end up with in another 10 years here .
Then add in the salesmans opening lines of come far how was the traffic feel like saying feck the traffic i want to talk about this machine.
Anyway anything new always comes up on here and other sites so you don't miss much .

40 miles each way was enough for me to be honest. Had I not have been involved with 2 stands may not have bothered! I was surprised to talk to people that had travelled from Ireland, Wales, the north west, Cornwall and Kent.
