Is that a 24 inch roller? We have a 8ft twose at home and the mf digger lifts it on forks no problems, and it won't lift 2 ton

I'd put it at about 1m diameter from memory. Works out at 1.88t plus frame, bit abstract as it's full of sand now. . 1.5t/cu m.

How i worked it out, 24x24 x 100 ÷78x96 to give cubic inches, then converted to litres, 354 cubic inches being 5.8 litres

1 meter is 39 inches, so significantly more than 24

Interesting paper here for folk wishing to make their own, but I notice they don't mention Maple as a good wood but do mention Oak despite it's corrosive characteristics .

Oak is corrosive to steel because of its tannin content. That is why oak furniture should be assembled with brass screws
