Land wanted.

Hi,

I am looking for some land to buy. I can only raise between £5k to £15k. It does not have to be big. I want to live off grid and work animals and veg if possible. I know there is section for land at auctions on here but from the auction sites I have seen they basically take all the money leaving the buyer and seller out of pocket.

If anybody knows of anyone who may have a small patch of land I would be eternally grateful.

Also I am not a hippy or weirdo. I am hard working and looking for somewhere that's mine.

I would mate but i doubt a landowner would want someone living on his land. Plus i was aiming for the one planet development in wales. They say you have to own your land. Suppose it's an idea though.

Planning permission will be a bit of a ball ache I expect.

My suggestion would be to look at woodland. Cheaper land to buy and if you hide yourself away in there, less likely to attract attention.

Landowner probably wants planning for a house! I doubt they want to live in a hut themselves. You rent it, get the planning, ten years later you move on and the farmer has a field with planning for a house on it. Double win.

If I take account of your budget and UK planning laws I think your dream will require you to emigrate? Ownership of a block of land does not give you an automatic right to live on it.
