Lanolin & Milk soaps

A friend bought me some lovely soap ages ago, iirc it was made from Lanolin & Milk.
It was lovely to use, and didnt seem to melt away like mass produced soap does.

Do we have any members make it as a diversification, is it difficult to make how do you get it to set.
Not looking to steal any recipes, just idle thoughts really, and wondering what goes into the making of it.

We make soap from our Jersey cows milk, it’s amazingly good and I for one can vouch my hands have never been cleaner or softer.
It’s also palm oil free and made with scents that have a link to the farm. It’s interesting once you get into it what goes into some of the commercial soaps are actually not good ingredients.
If you fancy trying some @llamedos give me a shout or check out the website www.thesoapdairy.com
We sell on line and to local shops and the boss has just designed a special soap for hand washing woollens.
It’s a chemical process to make it and the recipes have to be licencensed before you can sell it. Any slight change in the ingredients or scent used can make a massive difference to how it sets and whether it hardens to quickly or not at all.

There’s some info and a video of parts of the soap making process on our Facebook page @Wink. Tried to do a link but can’t get it to work but if you do FB look up Dodgson Wood
