What’s all this about discount! I ordered a selection box for the current wife last night ! Hope it gets me in the good books, before she gets swamped with pet lambs in a month !:p(y)

Appreciate the code. My hands always end up a bit of a mess in the winter interesting to see if your soap helps.
I have really dry skin and the milk soap keeps them clean and moistureised, I do try and wear gloves as well but I’ve never had a crack or even a dry patch since we started the soap

Nice to see some other members making soap! Bit of an obsession here too www.spasoap.co.uk Working on homemade salves just now but milk-based soap sounds interesting!

Handmade soap really is better for your skin - all sorts of stuff has to be added to factory soap to get it through the processing, and quite often the naturally-formed glycerine is separated out and sold.

We make soap from our Jersey cows milk, it’s amazingly good and I for one can vouch my hands have never been cleaner or softer.
It’s also palm oil free and made with scents that have a link to the farm. It’s interesting once you get into it what goes into some of the commercial soaps are actually not good ingredients.
If you fancy trying some @llamedos give me a shout or check out the website www.thesoapdairy.com
We sell on line and to local shops and the boss has just designed a special soap for hand washing woollens.
It’s a chemical process to make it and the recipes have to be licencensed before you can sell it. Any slight change in the ingredients or scent used can make a massive difference to how it sets and whether it hardens to quickly or not at all.

Ordered a selection box for Mrs Pine_guy for Valentine’s Day so I can try it out on my cracked hands [emoji6]

Arrived this morning thank you! Had a careful sneaky peek with the kids. Then wrapped it back up again......albeit not quite as well as the original packer [emoji12]
