DIRECTIONS:
From Tiverton take the Bickleigh/Crediton Road (A396), at Fishermans Cott pub turn right before the bridge towards Crediton (A3072), continue approx. 5 miles and turn left at Coffintree Crossroads signposted Stockleigh Pomeroy, follow this road approx. 3 miles through Shute village and the farm will be on the left hand side. ‘To the Sale Signs’ will be posted locally on the day of the sale. Please note SATNAV will get you to the farm but via the small lanes.

VIEWING:
On Tuesday 18th April between 12.00 noon to 4.00pm or on morning of the sale from 8.00am onwards.

VAT:
The vendor is VAT registered, so VAT will be added to the purchase price of most lots unless otherwise stated at the time of sale.

CLEARANCE:
All lots must be removed from the farm by 5.00pm Saturday 22nd April 2017, except Fodder which may remain on the farm until Friday 26th May 2017.

BUYERS PREMIUM:
A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added plus VAT will be charged on all lots £2,000 and under.

PAYMENT:
We are able to accept credit cards or debit cards as well as cash or cheque; however payments by credit card will incur an additional 2% charge.

Marketing, Presentation and Expertise contribute to Shute Farm Dispersal Sale Success!

A field full of clean and well-presented Implements, Machinery & Tractors awaited salegoers as they arrived at Shute Farm, Shute, Crediton EX17 1BW in there droves. It must be mentioned that the vendors, Messrs A H Ayre & Sons presented their equipment impeccably with the sale field a perfect picture inspiring buyer confidence and really demonstrating the quality of the equipment presented for sale.

With over 450 potential purchasers registering their interest for the sale of just over 350 lots bidding was fierce throughout with the top price of the day being £39,500 for the 2011 John Deere 6830 complete with Front Linkage (1978Hrs). Auctioneer Chris Clapham then proceeded to sell the 2009 New Holland T6020 complete with 750TL Loader (2270Hrs) for a strong price of £28,500 to a purchaser from outside of the United Kingdom. Last to be sold in the line-up of the three Tractors was the 2012 John Deere 5090R (2263Hrs) which saw numerous bidders vying to take it home, the hammer finally fell at a price of £26,500. The aged 1997 John Deere 1170 Combine Harvester complete with 14’ Header & Trailer (2860 Engine Hrs) was also the subject of competitive bidding finally being purchased by a farmer from Derbyshire for £17,750.

Although all of the machinery presented sold well on the day some other notable prices of items which looked particularly well sold included £4,700 for the 1999 John Deere 459 Conventional Baler. A Woods One Pass Tiller also looked well sold at a price of £3,000 along with a Spaldings Flat lift Subsoiler/Roller Crumbler which raced away to a hammer price of £3,200.

Amongst the Outside entries entered into the sale were some more excellent machines with Stafford Sampson putting the hammer down on a KRM Combination Drill which reached a price of £3,000.
