At first glance I thought that the first pic in the thread showed giant puff balls. Sadly none like those here, a fair number of penny buns and bay boletus, jews ear too on the elders. Very jealous of your harvest.

Does anyone know of a reliable source for horse mushroom spores? (other than finding a horse mushroom myself)

As far as I am aware truffles grow underground so you need a trained dog (or pig ) to find them for you.

Dad used to pick loads to sell in the farm shop from one field we'd recently reseeded, big ones like the original photo, no idea why they appeared there, another field next along had nothing in it.
