Late sown winter wheat

So who remembers back to 2013 when we had a similar spring. Granted it was colder but we still couldn’t get on to drill until late on in the spring. I know people were still planting winter variety’s of wheat in the spring and wondered how people got on?

2013 here was a walk in the park compared to this year and quite kind.

Drilled some late wheat mid Feb 2013 and it did 3.75t/a

50% of the stuff we drill early Feb this year is now dead
