I sowed some last year in less than ideal situations , total waste of time,looked sh!t from start to finish .

You need to buy some new seed, as the varieties have improved in the last ten years

I drilled optic and odyssey in mid march last year in less than ideal condition's,both good seed stock's and the optic handled the condition's far better.Don't think any of the newer varieties handle less than perfict condition's very well.

Normal 3m combi, it's 12.5 cms .
Rolling may be confusing you.

Roll everything for him. It's a bit steep in places. Didn't plough it, just ran through with cultivator after turnips,then combi drill.
