Laureate Bolting

Anyone else got plants in Laureate Spring barley that appear to have bolted?

Got the odd plants that have done it in all fields from two different merchants and 4 seed lots. Standing more erect and taller than surrounding plants with a reddened stem.

Agronomist seeing it in most Laureate crops. Reckons it's plants going back to one parent type or the other making them look different from the rest. Thinks it could be weather related.

seems like its a common problem this year, heard about it from quite a few folk who have it in seed crops

Kind of relieved it's not just Laureate then. Must just be the dry Spring weather that's caused it.
