Lavender

Hello folks,, i am interested in trying to plant a crop of Lavender, i would like to start a conversation with folks that have done this in the past or currently farming Lavender..
My first question would be where should i try to source out lavender sets. Any other info is greatly appreciated.

I have become involved with lavender A gentleman in the village bought a block of land and he wanted to plant It into lavender ,but he wanted to plant it from seed no one has done this before ,no information so I made a drill which will plant Lavender seed Spaced out neatly, here some pictures I’ve also been over to Tasmania looking at the lavender farms . We drilled about 11ac

Depends on end use - different cultivars for different end uses, essential oils etc. The cultivars don't come true from seed..

What drill did you use . I am keen to plant it in strips between blockade I think the flowers will attract beneficial insects.

As I said set about in the workshop and made one, we are talking to a manufacturer at the moment , They would like to move the project on . So I just cannot say at the moment.
