Running 4 John Deeres at the moment but won't have another one. Had issues with head gaskets and bent crankshafts on Kawasaki engines, aluminium decks cracking, paint peeling off in sheets and the power drive is too highly geared on current models.

Edit, these are walk behind models. Don't have any experience of anything with a seat on it.

Most excellent mower. Get the price for a new deck if you’re worried about ally, a few years back I priced one and didn’t think it too bad.
Have you had any problems with Honda's aluminium deck? We were thinking of avoiding aluminium after cracking and holes in 2 out of 3 JD aluminium decks.

Have a stiga here ok i suppose but needs to be 4x4. Mine is not and it is annoying. Neighbour had a kubuta on demo it cut long grass no problem and didn't hang about either. I will be looking at one of those soon.

Is it possible gather the grass with one of those stiga mowers which mow in front
