Lead Sprayer and Combine Operator – Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Sprayer and Combine operator to join a small team in North Hampshire. The farming operation currently covers 2,085 hectares growing combinable and energy crops alongside an Environmental Stewardship Scheme and managed Woodlands.

The main responsibility of this key role will be operating a Fendt 724 with a trailed 36m Horsch Leeb 8GS sprayer applying both pesticide and liquid fertiliser across a range of crops. The role will also include the operation of a New Holland CR 9.90 combine with 40ft header during the harvest period. All machinery operates with RTK technology to follow a CTF system wherever possible. The successful candidate will hold a full UK driving license, PA1 and PA2 certificates and have knowledge and experience of precision farming technology. We would expect the successful candidate to have some experience of operating large-scale crop sprayers. They will also be able to take on responsibility, be a strong communicator and have good administration skills.

This position is a lead role within a small team with a competitive overall package with extensive training available for the right candidate. Temporary accommodation is immediately available on farm for candidates considering relocation and assistance will be provided to the successful candidate for more permanent accommodation.
