Leadsom admits uncertainty over post-Brexit environmental laws

Guth firmly believes that DDT and Dursban will be allowed back.
He's entitled to think what he likes, it's derisory, there are opportunities available, to those that bother to seek them in our new found situation.rather than the likes of Dr dunk moaning that change might happen.

Anyway, strong remainers such as monbiot tell us Brexit means the same as GUTH, sh!t being pumped straight in to the rivers, hedges cut in june etc etc,

The reality is now the power is in all our hands, if we chose to leave it to the bunnie huggers to control us then that's a missed opportunity, instead many would rather moan at their fellow farmers, than get stuck in and make change for the better happen.

What i do find laughable about the whole situation is, the eu is suppose to be our biggest market, yet when i went to Greece a couple weeks back, there was not one single British product on the shelves and it's not asif their food there is cheap either, i'm sure they would love to play with the market, cut out supply and make all their goods more expensive by sticking tarrifs on ours though, that's surely the best way to keep the populous happy, starve them to submission.

Reality check, it won't happen, and if it did, it will be for a very short time indeed, they've had our goods for 40 years, take them away and their prices will rise, the Canada deal is a pointless addition to the Brexit debate, they have never had the amount of goods off Canada before so it's an addition at best, they know what our stuff costs and how it will affect their markets.

Finally, if we have soo little hope in our European friends being fair with us, than are they really friends? it's all abit Scot reg with the English being the enemy.

I dont get the whole arguement of leaving our biggest market. Im not that versed up on it all but i dont think we will stop buying german cars, drinking french wine or eating spanish fruit etc. They ll still want scottish whisky and british lamb. Arnt we as important to them as they are to us?

Where do you think the EUs soya is going to come from?

From farms that grow it without using Roundup. The market ultimately always gets what it wants. We have not been allowed to use GM soya for our cattle for years. The French government has been paying subsidies to grow protein crops for the last few years in an effort to remove agriculture's dependence on imports of proteins.

So we will have to negotiate a separate trade agreement with Republic Francais?

Well i didnt say that or imply that, id be more shocked if the rules and regs didnt come.
Maybe you didn't, but Guth was definitely saying that we could chuck the rule book away, bring back banned chemicals and stick two fingers up to farm assurance etc.
I didn't believe him, but I honestly think alot of farmers did.
It is what it is, and theres no turning back, but I don't think any of our leaders have a clue what to do about trade deals etc. A right dogs dinner, and we will be left as piggy in the middle, while they try and figure it out. You'd think the politicians who pushed for out, would've at least had some idea.

The only double standards involve remainers who can't accept the will of the people.
I think the double standards will come from the clueless, backtracking politicians. I don't have an issue with the way people voted or their reasons, just think they were not told the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
No use arguing now though, but I'm still waiting for some decisive action!

Well actually, you did imply the possibly of a reduction in the number of rules.

But why let little things like the truth get in the way of trying to wriggle out of the shyte.

Aye but if they have nothing to pick stupid rules from we don`t get any more rules, you never know they might even throw a few away if we get lucky.

you said we would crash and burn the day after june 23rd, but do tell me how that extra money in your sfp cheque's going to charity yeh? hypocrite.

As Hilly said, might and probably will, whats the massive rush? Brexit is a process, everything will take time.

It's the usual sh!t from you, you can only cast judgement when we have done the deed, and been out for at least 20 years, then we can say who is right or wrong.
