Leaking air seat

where do I start trying to fix it

Same here. But we ‘fixed it once!!
They’re a bloody nightmare.

Pump it up rock solid. Unplug and unbolt it. I take it out the back window for more space.
Spray soapy water till you find the leak.

Many times been advised its cheaper and easier to buy a new seat. That said, even that isn't simple!

One went in our 6180 years ago, the old man just jammed in a trimmed down coil spring under the base. Ride was ........firm.

where do I start trying to fix it

As bellow fairy liquid if its a pipe end leeking pull it off and put super glue on fitting then pipe on
Some times the seat suspention rollers were away and then it rubbs thro the air bag seats are
£350-500 complete
If one bit has worn the rest is soon to follow

Most important put a block off wood between floor andd front of seat to hold it up they are dam heavy and hurt if they come down on you pinkys

New seat base from Thomas Scott seating was my solution. Cheaper than a new seat. I got sick of looking for the leak!

After much searching I found the dump or down side of the compressor valve was leaking , new compressor sorted problem, took a few goes to find it though.
Seem to remember an article in Profi mag saying the air bag is unlikely to be the problem unless the machine has had broken windows .
