Leatherjackets

I've been trying to find the initial photo he sent me of a seedling with a Wireworm firmly attached to the root!

I've pulled up plants with wireworm attached but I still have a hard time believing the wireworm were there in numbers large enough to kill entire acres of grass ley with a sowing rate entire orders of magnitude greater than things like maize or cereals?

Have supplied a number of TFF members and at least 3 with repeat orders. Other than @APJ no one posts that Greenland is successful.
You guys are always worried someone is making a pound but I can assure you the hassle of sending a can or two of products is hardly worth the hassle.
I see people posting a problem and am basically trying to help you cure the problem. There are no fancy brochures or endless trial results so it would be nice if some of you users post results. 1.0 ltr/ha at £20, you will see no Lj's, slugs or wireworm.
0.5ltr/ha gives 7 days cover against CSFB if you spray in the evening when active.

Interesting that you guys in the south have a big problem. Now virtually cleared this seasons stock already and have re-ordered. Due to Haulage problems hope none of you needing big quantities need it quick. Also expect a price rise from £20/litre/ha. Courier price alone has risen by 30% in 2 months and they are not as quick unless I pay even more. No doubt if a newly manufactured batch there will be a price rise so don't think I am price gouging due to its success. Everything I see or touch is rocketing in price. Bank of England inflation forecast of 3% this year settling back to 2% next year. Dream on put a zero after both those numbers 30% and 20%.

Slight change to the product but manufacturer claims same effects.
We have no problems locally so will need to get someone to try the two side by side and report back. Just causing confusion, can't understand why if it isn't broken why fix it!
