just looking st swapping my JCB and there is now an option for LED lights instead of halogen for around £450 extra. Anyone done this and what do you think of them?
Start at 5:15am every morning loading the mixer wagon so the lights get plenty of use!

Recently had a demo of 1 with led and they were very good. Have a manitou with led and they are much better than on the machine without them.

Spend the money on them.

Brother fitted a lightbar on the merlo, 80quid of eBay. It's great, especially for carting bales can spot them across a field at night about 6-700metres away. Bit blinding to stand in front of though

But £450 EXTRA for the upgrade?
Taking the pee.

A bit like Ifor Williams trailers a while ago, mate of mine wanted led lights on his new trailer, can't remember how much but it was a hell of a lot of money, and when asked why it was so expensive, he was told they couldn't fit the led lights on the production line, but would bring a trailer into the workshops after being built, remove the standard lights, and refit led lights :banghead: don't know whether things have changed recently !

i still dunno why there such an expensive option where just talking some electronics here with LEDs on a circuit board
and then all fitted into a fully waterproofed light unit but for quality ones there like 4 or 5 times the price of a Quailty Halogen light
There is on thing there most cert way way better than halogen bulbs.
But there is also alot of diff in the elcheapo ebay stiff to proper branded ones that have all the detailed specs & full EMC protection
ie Electronic Noise Filtering.

New 536-70 here LEDs all round will never have anything but LED now on new machinery they are brilliant compared to standard. For £450 just do it you’ll not regret it infact we’re looking into getting the LED headlight clusters as well as the LED work lights make them look pathetic.

You don’t work before 9 and after 5 though [emoji23][emoji12]
