LED's on a telehandler

Last year our old worklights broke on our merlo so was going to replace them and wondered if LED's are the way to go.

Does anyone know where the best place to get them is. The local places have some but they look crap. Not looking to spend too much and don't need to light up the whole farm, just to let me see what I'm doing. Or should I stick with halogens.
Thanks
Frank

I swapped all the lights on my merlo couple years ago and would never go back.

@UTV Products has a straight swap even for the main driving lights that dip.

Hunting bales at harvest in the dark to stack is now great as can see 100’s of meters.

Can talk later to help with led lights on the Merlo. Definitely do not stick with halogens when you can have a load better. Possibly correct about local places may have lower grade than you could fit. Regards Martin Tel 07834 457621 or 01606 553109

Another part number to look at for the work lights is UTV307 at only £28 + vat each. Depends what shape your Merlo has fitted now or what shape you prefer going forward

I replaced the front work lights on my Merlo last Autumn, with a couple of LEDs from @UTV Products too. It has completely transformed the lighting in the front work area, at a reasonable enough price.(y) You won’t regret it, certainly if they need replacing anyway.

Sometimes folk do not place a value on their time or understand the difference between a well designed and made led light or a "Cheapie" made one.
With quality made lights there is a definite difference in the clarity, crispness and beam control before we touch on sustained performance and more.

One day maybe we will do business.

We sell lights to many a person in New Zealand and usually begins with them being fed up with radio interference. Regards Martin

I would think you'd spot plenty of differences between a decent product, and these ones! These certainly don't look very well sealed, but they will be tucked up under the eaves, while I'll relocate the originals to the rear fenders of the tractor.

Martin, what are your thoughts re. these "spot/flood" type LEDs? I really wanted something in between so bought a set with both types of reflector.

Thanks @Andrew

Nordic Lights have a range called the Go Series or KL series. We have sold a few of these for telehandlers etc. I would be happy to talk you through the options available.

Thanks

Graham

If in doubt or want a bit of range coupled with close working then no question about recommending this light but does not fall in the "Cheapie" price bracket.
