Legumes in cover crops relationship with peas in the rotation

We want dabble with some cover cropping. We grow Vining peas in our rotation so need 6 or 7 clear years and no other leguminous crop. We did once grow 3 year clover lays and saw no affect. I was going to grow a rye/vetch/linseed mix but not sure about the vetch. May swap it for phacellia. Any sensible opinions or help taken.

Cheers

Is the Kellogg's Origins cover crop guide in the public domain or just for NIAB TAG members? I think there was something in there...

I've just reread it. No mention of this. All legumes in the list come with the warning "consider conflict with other legumes in the rotation."
