Didn’t make it, unfortunately. Seeing the picture of Rupert in front of the Heritage Crime stand, he is coming to our church next month to highlight Heritage Crime as we had the lead roof stolen a few years ago. Still haven’t raised the funds to replace all of it yet (ternecoat steel) but we have done over 2/3.

Had a good chat to him and the Rural Crime Team, getting the club officially affiliated to Heritage Watch.

Buildings came up in the conversation as well, as a local Estate "lost" the roof of a folly a while ago as well as a lot of other flashing etc.

As for your church I can think of a good fundraiser!

Just needs 100 acres of mud, 70-80 folk at £20 each, no overheads and all the gate money goes to the land donor. :)
