Hi there!
I'm a new member on this group, I'm from Romania and I own a 75 cows farm back here.
I've won a european project to buy for the farm a roboting milking system, and here almost everybody is using Lely.
Can you help me to chose or recomand me another milking robot? i'm interested in terms of maintenance and problems specially because i've read a lot of posts here about milking robots problems.

1st thing to consider is provision of service in your locality
Which robot dealers have a service engineer less than 2 hours drive away
If they don`t cross them off your list

That's a problem in our area with all the dealers

Have you visited any/many single robot farms ? That is your first thing on the list and talk to other robot farmers in your area about their experiences

I've done that, in all Romania, but it's not a grown industry in this matter

Not taken the plunge with robots but I’d definitely throw fullwood and recently DeLaval aswell. Personally if the grants flexible I’d be thinking two for continuity.
